The "Kathy" was the first moho to be completely redesigned inside to be functional for Hair/Makeup/Wardrobe and even working space for the production crew to make their day(s) run smooth. A 4500 Watt generator powers everything you need all at once and it comes with WIFI availability no matter where you're parked!
Our Client/Talent Coaches are luxurious, spacious, and comfortable for your VIP Clientele. We service for all types of events and productions. The list of celebrities that have not just stepped foot in our Client Coaches but even kicked their feet up include Tom Brady, the Gronk, John Cena, Gary LeVox, Megan Rapinoe, Mike "the Miz", and Steven Augeri.
The "RIssy-Mae" was the second addition to the fleet and also similarly redesigned with a modern and funcational space filled with all the amenities needed on set such as ironing board, iron, steamer, private wardrobe space, full length mirror, clothes rack with hangers, rear door with access to wardrobe, bathroom, lighted mirrors at the H&M station, and computer and printer desk station.
Class Act Moho Rentals was founded in February 2021
by Dave Baird and his good buddy and business partner Travis Just (may God rest his soul)
Dave and Travis enjoyed the RV life and as entrepreneurs observed a need in the market place. It started with the idea of renting out Rv’s to families who were eager to do some family roadtrips. Then one day their RV was booked for a production shoot and they quickly realized this market was untapped and was in need of a company that would provide a reliable, class act for producer’s who were in need to a luxury coach. The needs for a film, Comercial or special event is much different than the needs of a family just going on an RV vacation.
Dave Baird has prepared his mind to search for and see opportunities. He has prepared his mind by researching and understanding business, industries, timing, products and services. He’s a consummate learner and implementer. I’ve watched him interact and ask powerful, specific questions that most people would never even think of. He’s prepared himself with resources both in contacts and finances that allow him to take action when potential business idea presents itself. He’s prepared himself to take action after he’s done his due diligence and asked the three important questions that we learned from business mogul, Keith Cunningham.
Anytime he makes and investment or decides to start a new business he asked himself these 3 questions:
What’s the upside?
What’s the downside?
Can I live with the downside?
Dave was paying attention to the numbers. How much they cost, how much they rent for and if there was a potential opportunity to develop a business model around it. He researched, asked all the right questions and immersed himself to learn all he could learn.
He Identified a need in the market place and where the biggest profits were. He initially thought it would be in the RV family rentals and quickly realized there was a much more specific niche that not only had little competition but would have higher profits with less resources.
He’s been a successful entrepreneur who’s built successful businesses in different industries. From capitalizing on the .com boom back in the early 2000’s and helping create websites for real estate agents, when nobody had websites. He saw an opportunity when many others didn’t. He took massive action and built a successful company called Z57.
While he was on location before he had this idea, a production company rented a family coach for a production event. He asked, “if you had it all your way and could renovate a family RV into a working RV for your needs, what would that look like?”
The producer informed him that there would be a working station where their team could work on their computers with chairs and a desk. There would would be a hair and make up station with a big mirror with chairs so the hair and make up team could easily prepare the talents for the photo or film shoot. There would be a wardrobe change area where they could try on different outfits and have enough room to change in privacy.
Class Act Moho RV was born.
He purchased two RV’s, negotiated and got the best price possible. Spent money renovating them both and turned them into production coaches. These coaches are perfect for production companies that are filming commercials, films or hosting special events and have unique needs.
Their needs are much different than a family renting an RV. He saw and heard the opportunity and found a company to do the renovations. He gave them exactly what he wanted and today he is one of the most sought after Motor production RV companies in Tampa and Orlando, Florida.
He’s also built successful businesses in the real estate and the travel industry. I am always inspired by entrepreneurs who take calculated risk and have a unique way of identifying where there is a need and how they can solve a problem and potentially create a business around it. As I shadowed him the past few days I was inspired by his new company,
